FAMILY POTLUCK and MASKED BALL!

Tuesday, April 28, 2009
THE WHOLE FAMILY is invited to our annual end of school year potluck. But, this year it will be on FRIDAY, MAY 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Three Rivers House, 724 Main Street in La Crosse (our original date conflicted with La Crosse schools' proms.)

UB will provide sloppy joes, buns, plates, utensils and beverages as usual. If you can, please bring some food to share.

This year, in addition to sharing great food and conversation, honoring and recognizing graduating seniors and continuing students and distributing info about the summer program, we're going to decorate masks. OR bring your own if you wish.

No RSVP necessary - just show up with a bit 'o food to share and a happy heart!

Congratulations, Danella & Avery!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009
UB students Danella Fonza and Avery Van Gaard recently entered the Congressional Art Contest for the Third Congressional District (Wisconsin). Results were announced on Saturday, April 18 at an exhibit and reception hosted by U.S. Rep. Ron Kind and his wife, Tawny.

Danella received an Honorable Mention and Avery earned a third place spot!

Congrats!

There will be a La Crosse Public High School exhibit, including many of the CAC entries, at the Pump House in La Crosse, 119 King Street, from May 6 through May 30.
