Scholarship opportunity at UW-Oshkosh
This just in - new scholarship at UW-Oshkosh for biology, microbio, chem and computer science majors:
PFG Scholarships (Proteomics and Functional Genomics) for Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry and Computer Science majors
Amount: *Up to $10,000 per year
Deadline: March 15 deadline for receipt of all application materials
Are you a research scientist in the making? Prepare yourself to do state-of-the-art research in diverse fields such as stem cell research, neuroscience, cancer, physiology, bioremediation, biofuels and alternative energy.
Receive up to $10,000 per year*, every year, in scholarship funds.
*(The exact amount of the scholarship will be based on your FAFSA level of need.)
Requirements for consideration for a PFG Scholarship ~ Applicants must be:
* U.S. citizens
* Admitted as full-time, first-year students at UW Oshkosh
* Have submitted a FAFSA demonstrating financial need
* Have a science or math ACT sub-score of 25 or higher
* Be a declared major in biology, microbiology, chemistry or computer science and interested in interdisciplinary studies requiring coursework in these fields
