NEW STANDARDS for UB students
As colleges tighten their admissions standards, UB needs to make sure participants understand how important good grades are. So, UB is raising its own standards for students. We will expect juniors and seniors to earn at least a 3.0 UB gpa every quarter with no Ds or Fs and we will expect freshmen and sophomores to earn at least a 2.5 UB gpa every quarter with no Ds or Fs.
Students who fall below these standards will be put on probation for at least one quarter and they will be required to attend extra tutoring sessions. Students who fail to achieve these standards after at least one quarter on probation will need to write a continuation contract.
